Garden Spa Sanctuary & Hot Tub Installation

The challenge with this project was to create a magical hot tub relaxation area that incorporated the existing trees and steps that a previous owner built but lead to nowhere. We also built an outdoor shower area and created a path that connected both areas. As part of the project we pored two concrete slabs and connected the hot tub area and the outdoor shower with a solid pebble stone path. We used transparent epoxy glue that we mixed with small river pebbles which allowed us to created a walking path across uneven ground that looked fantastic.

The outdoor shower featured hot water powered by a tankless water heater. The water from the shower leads into a french drain that irrigates the nearby garden.

We also designed the outdoor lighting system that illuminated both the walking path, the trees as well as the outdoor shower shelf – a truly magical experience.

One of the challenging aspects of this project was to work around the existing landscape and preserve the trees. We wanted the hot tub to be nested into the landscape so we had to do some digging.

We also modified the steps the lead from the patio to the hot tub area and added recessed lights and path lights that made it easy to walk up to the hot tub area at night:

Of course we had to poor a bunch of concrete both for the Hot Tub area and the outdoor shower area using a concrete pump and long hose that feed the concrete around the property.
